Role description

What We Need:
We are searching for a Account Manager, eCommerce to join the HNI Workplace Furnishings team.
The Account Manager, eCommerce is responsible for the leading strategic sales strategies in the achievement of revenue targets and aims at growing market share within our e-commerce customers. This role will collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to understand and maximize opportunities for online customers.
What you'll do:
Manage a complex portfolio of major e-commerce customers through establishing productive, professional relationships with designated account leaders and develop comprehensive understanding of customerβs business portfolios using market data to identify portfolio gaps.
Responsible for achieving revenue targets and accurately mange quarterly budget cycles, forecasting, and business reviews.
Manage the P&L for assigned customers including sales and spending forecast, negotiations, and identifying growth opportunities in all categories.
Schedule quarterly business review sessions with key stakeholders with assigned customers to review performance and strategize future growth opportunities.
Lead sales and spend forecasting with support from product and marketing β ultimate ownership of the ecommerce P&L and PPM analysis.
Oversee retail pricing, monitor buy-box trends, and work with WPF leadership to price appropriate to market.
Identify and understand details that drive or hamper ecommerce sales (paid media, content, inventory availability, distribution, etc.) remove roadblocks and implement new strategies.
Act as the main contact for project and service escalations to nurture strong relationships with customers. Utilize internal connections to resolve issues and advocate for broader process or organizational improvements when needed.
Monitor performance challenges and advocate for customer perspective among HNI Workplace Furnishings functional areas, serving as primary point of contact for account management with one or more functional teams.
Coordinate connections between HNI Workplace Furnishings teams and resources to ensure proper support, deploy current strategic objectives, and communicate changes effectively, while implementing marketing strategies in line with brand guidelines and promoting both new and existing products.
Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.
What you have:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or business-related field required.
At least 4 years of sales or management of ecommerce accounts, ideally with major marketplaces required; 7 years preferred.
