Role description
We’re Evo, an award-winning digital agency based in the heart of Somerset. For over 15 years, we’ve designed, built and managed transformative web and ecommerce platforms for ambitious brands. Clients trust us because we go further than just build. We think with them, challenge the brief, and deliver with care.
We’re also proud to have ranked number 12 in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2024 (small business category), based entirely on team feedback.
If you're looking to grow your career in a people-first agency with high standards and a bold vision, this could be the perfect move.
The Role
As Account Manager, you’ll be the key link between our clients and our internal delivery teams across design, development and strategy. You’ll build long-term relationships, lead conversations, and make sure projects stay on track and aligned to client goals. You’ll also help shape smarter ways of working across the agency.
We’re looking for someone with a strong understanding of digital, ideally in a web, ecommerce or agency setting. You’ll be proactive, thoughtful, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. We'd be looking for someone to join us on a hybrid work set-up, in the office 2-3 days per week ideally.
What You’ll Do
• Be the day-to-day contact and trusted advisor for your clients
• Lead projects across disciplines with clear plans and regular check-ins
• Write briefs, scopes and estimates in collaboration with our technical leads
• Spot opportunities to grow client accounts and support new business activity
• Coordinate internal teams to make sure they have what they need
• Keep everything running smoothly by managing timelines, budgets and deliverables
• Offer strategic input to clients and colleagues, with digital best practice in mind
• Help with invoicing and simple reporting tasks
What You’ll Bring
• At least 2 years in a client-facing role within a digital, ecommerce or creative agency
• A good understanding of how digital projects are delivered, especially websites and ecommerce
• Clear, confident communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience managing timelines, budgets and stakeholders
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
• A calm, solutions-focused mindset
• Familiarity with tools like Basecamp, Jira or similar
• Bonus: experience with quoting and invoicing
Why Join Evo?
• Ranked in the UK’s Best Workplaces™ 2024
• 25–30 days holiday, plus bank holidays
• Personal Health & Wellness budget
• Career development plans and support
• Cycle to Work and EV Salary Sacrifice schemes
• Founder-led agency with big ambition and strong values
• Regular team socials and away days
• A chance to work on high-impact digital projects with a supportive, ambitious team
