As the Adobe Commerce Webmaster, you’ll be at the forefront of maintaining and evolving the RS website, managing day-to-day operations, implementing business-driven changes, and ensuring the site’s structure and content meet high standards of quality and consistency. The team works on a wide range of impactful initiatives—from configuring site settings and managing data updates to evaluating new CMS capabilities and supporting custom module development. About The Role Role Purpose This is a newly created role designed to support RS’s growing digital ambitions. As the Adobe Commerce Webmaster/Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and evolving our ecommerce platform. You’ll be responsible for configuring site settings, managing content and data updates, and implementing iterative improvements that enhance the customer experience. This role is essential to ensuring the stability, scalability, and usability of our Adobe Commerce environment, while also enabling the business to respond quickly to changing needs. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality digital solutions that align with RS’s broader digital strategy. Responsibilities • Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of the e-commerce website • Own and prioritize incoming business change requests, working directly with internal and external team members to evaluate, assign, and resolve tasks related to Adobe Commerce administration and content management • Own and govern quality and consistency standards for the e-commerce site’s content and structure • Keep informed as to CMS-impacting changes that may result from software upgrade cycles and regularly review new CMS capabilities that can be leveraged by the business • Create and maintain centralized documentation for CMS usage and supporting processes, provide training of user groups as needed • Manage data updates – bulk manipulate and transform data as needed, format flat files for import/export, setup jobs as needed for regular updates • Configure site settings as needed – stores, shipping, catalog, and cart rules • Evaluate, configure and test custom modules and extensions as needed, coordinating with team members to implement and ensure adoption as intended • Support code development process as needed via system analysis, requirements documentation and testing site functions How I Make a Difference In This Role To make a difference in this role, the Adobe Commerce Webmaster must combine technical expertise with a proactive mindset. As the first person in this position, you’ll help shape the standards and processes for Adobe Commerce administration at RS. By owning the CMS and ecommerce platform configuration, you’ll ensure the website remains stable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Success comes from being detail-oriented, responsive to change requests, and capable of translating complex requirements into actionable tasks. The ability to maintain clear documentation, train users, and collaborate with both internal teams and external vendors will be key to driving continuous improvement and delivering a best-in-class digital experience. Org Structure • Reports to the Lead Digital Product Manager in the Digital Experience Team.
