Role description
Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager Contract 1-2 Years Location: California Remote Do you love building things from the ground up? We’re looking for a Sr. Affiliate Marketing Manager who’s excited to design, launch, and scale a best-in-class affiliate program in the cosmetic pharmaceuticals space. This is a high-impact role where you’ll partner with our paid media, e-commerce, and PR teams to drive growth, test new ideas, and make your mark in a fast-growing industry. What you’ll do β€’ Lead the charge on our client’s affiliate program from strategy and publisher development, to day-to-day management. β€’ Stay ahead of industry trends, testing new platforms, networks, and publisher models that can fuel growth. β€’ Build and manage relationships with agencies, publishers, and networks, negotiating rates, managing invoicing, and ensuring smooth operations. β€’ Spot new affiliate opportunities, nurture partnerships, and build a pipeline of future growth. β€’ Track performance like a pro β€” analyzing KPIs, optimizing campaigns, and sharing insights that keep us moving forward. β€’ Work closely with teams across Brand, E-Comm, Analytics, MarTech, and PR to maximize impact. What we’re looking for: β€’ 3+ years managing and executing performance-based affiliate programs across content publishers, traditional affiliates, and influencer/partnerships (building a program from scratch is a plus) β€’ Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar β€’ Background in beauty/skincare industry; e-commerce experience strongly preferred β€’ Proficient with affiliate networks such as Rakuten, ShareASale, Impact, CJ, Pepperjam, etc. β€’ Skilled at creating and presenting performance reports and program updates to senior leadership β€’ Deep knowledge of analytics/reporting tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) with the ability to interpret complex datasets and make data-driven decisions β€’ Hands-on experience with incrementality, A/B testing, and multivariate testing β€’ Strong content marketing expertise: Ability to identify what captures attention and drives engagement/action β€’ Solid understanding of performance marketing, online acquisition journeys, and conversion funnels β€’ Flexible, proactive, and process-driven; able to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-like environment while managing competing priorities β€’ Self-starter with curiosity and persistence; comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving next steps β€’ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proven ability to collaborate across teams Bonus points if you have β€’ Experience with influencer marketing and TikTok Shop/IG Shop. β€’ A knack for content marketing and knowing what drives clicks, conversions, and conversations. β€’ Hands-on experience with testing methods like A/B and incrementality.
