Role description
Weaver Brands is seeking a results-oriented Amazon Channel Manager to lead and grow our 1P Amazon business through Vendor Central. This role will oversee strategy, profitability, and operational execution across the Amazon channel. The Amazon Channel Manager will serve as the primary liaison with Amazonβs AVS and vendor management teams while coordinating with marketing, operations, and third-party partners to optimize content, advertising, inventory, and overall channel performance.
The job responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
β’ Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue and margin growth in the Amazon channel.
β’ Manage the Amazon P&L, ensuring sales and profitability targets are achieved.
β’ Monitor category trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities to inform decision-making.
β’ Serve as the primary point of contact with Amazonβs AVS and vendor management teams.
β’ Lead joint business planning sessions with Amazon to align goals, promotions, and assortment.
β’ Negotiate terms, programs, and promotional opportunities to maximize growth and profitability.
β’ Own inventory forecasting, replenishment, and allocation to maintain optimal in-stock performance.
β’ Partner with operations to minimize out-of-stocks, chargebacks, and deductions.
β’ Monitor and address shortages, compliance issues, and operational performance.
β’ Collaborate with third-party partners to optimize Amazon content, advertising, SEO, and promotions.
β’ Oversee product detail page accuracy, A+ content, brand store updates, and advertising campaigns.
β’ Continuously analyze performance metrics to improve traffic, conversion, and ROI.
β’ Provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership.
β’ Leverage data to identify risks and opportunities for sustainable growth
Our Ideal Applicant
β’ 3β5+ years managing Amazon Vendor Central accounts, preferably in consumer goods or retail.
β’ Strong knowledge of Amazon systems, processes, and business drivers.
β’ Proven ability to manage complex relationships with Amazon vendor managers and AVS teams.
β’ Experience in inventory planning, replenishment, and demand forecasting.
β’ Working knowledge of Amazon marketing tools, SEO, and promotional best practices.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
β’ Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
