Amazon E-commerce Planner
We're seeking a proactive, self-starting Digital E-commerce Planner to lead planning and financial strategies across pure play e-commerce accounts, with a strong focus on Amazon 1P wholesale. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, lean environment and doesn't need a lot of direction to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Account Strategy
• Develop and execute sales, margin, and inventory plans for pure play e-commerce accounts, especially Amazon 1P.
• Analyze performance by account, category, and brand to identify growth opportunities and optimize inventory flow.
• Monitor weekly sales, pricing, and inventory to ensure on-time delivery and maximize revenue.
• Create assortment strategies and size scales in collaboration with account teams.
• Provide unit forecasts for replenishment and key items aligned with financial goals.
• Track in-stock and WOS data at the style/color level to identify trends and adjust plans accordingly.
• Partner with Supply Chain Planning to optimize buys and reduce special project costs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Sales, Design, Merchandising, and Marketing to align on assortment, SKU count, and promotional strategies.
• Collaborate with internal E-commerce teams to stay current on best practices and KPI metrics.
• Ensure high-visibility items are promoted effectively across platforms.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in planning and financial roles, ideally within companies that operate their own Amazon store.
• Amazon 1P wholesale experience is required.
• Strong understanding of retail math and Excel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to solve financial and merchandising challenges independently.
• Proven success in fast-paced, lean organizations.
• Highly dynamic, proactive, and able to prioritize without heavy oversight.
