Role description
The Avant Group is expanding and looking for more staff to join their growing team in Edinburgh. They will be joining the Digital Marketing Department, and their role will be two fold: ensuring a great performance of their Amazon Marketplace presence alongside developing digital marketing strategies to support their online expansion.

Key Responsibilities
Amazon Specific:
• Writing content for online listings, primarily on Amazon Vendor and FBA.
• Managing and building a strong relationship with the B2B dedicated Account Manager
• Working closely with the IT team to build and update the premium amazon storefronts on Amazon in Vendor Central for all Brands.
• Creating A+ detail for Amazon listings.
• Raising cases with Amazon Vendor Central Support to resolve pinch points
• Working with Amazon Brand Registry to register all brands and protect against infringement.
• Setting up and maintaining Amazon Marketing Services campaigns both in Seller Central & Vendor Central.
• Driving marketing and advertising decisions to ensure all products being promoted are visible and targeting correct demographic.
• Managing movement of goods into FBA and Vendor Central.
• Management of advertising campaigns (PPC) and content (SEO)
• Ownership of customer service
• Analysing sales data to make better decisions and develop marketing strategies
• Managing the stock levels and ensuring that Amazon does not overstock items.
Other digital marketing responsibilities:
• Conduct SEM analysis/audits with a focus on search terms, rankings and analytics.
• Source keywords for blogs, press releases, social status updates and campaign needs.
• Help the digital team to plan SEO/SEM strategies to promote content and drive traffic and sales.
• Assisting with daily business needs
Technical Skills Required
• A degree level qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience of selling through Amazon
• Recent e-commerce/digital marketing background, preferably within a consumer product/retail business (B2C)
• High level of copywriting in relation to advertising
• IT Literate, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, with particularly strong skills in Microsoft Excel (Advanced / Expert)
• Customer orientated attitude
