Role description
The Digital Marketing Analyst is Responsible for designing, testing, and analyzing digital data and contributing to energy companyβs digital marketing strategy by delivering insights, managing and supporting optimization efforts, and analyzing data for improved analytics capture, design opportunities, and actionable recommendations
Position Responsibilities May Include
β’ Learn current and new systems in social media, CRM and event management (such as sprout social, meta, linkedin)
β’ Develop, copy, manage development and results of social media content
β’ Manage content and campaigns for Marketing Automation system
β’ Manage content and campaigns for Sales Enablement technology platform
β’ Establish deadlines and coordinating internal and external resources required to meet those deadlines
β’ Manage end-to-end assigned digital projects
β’ Identify opportunities to use technology to enhance digital communications
β’ Gather, analyze, and interpret a wide variety of digital media performance data and KPIs to identify trends, root causes, and indicted actions
β’ Provide recommendations for all digital platforms
β’ Demonstrated willingness to keep up with current trends and developments in digital marketing
β’ Develop new ideas and sell these projects to executive team
β’ Provide support to internal and external end users
β’ Provide Marketing and IT analytical reports to continue improvements
β’ Assist with other projects as assigned
Nature & Scope
β’ Ensures work is aligned with the Directorβs expectations, goals, and vision
β’ Accountable for implementation of policies, processes, and procedures for short-term results
β’ Decisions and problem-solving are guided by policies, procedures and business plan; receives guidance from Senior Manager/Director
β’ Works on difficult to moderately complex issues and projects
β’ Provides guidance and training to subordinates
β’ Has authority to hire, recommend pay, establish performance and recommend for termination
β’ Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines
Knowledge & Skills;
β’ Hands-on experience with online marketing tools and practices
β’ Excellent customer relationship management skills
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
β’ Strong analytical and project management skills
β’ Established knowledge of digital marketing strategies and execution best practices
β’ Strong analytical skills (including well versed of Microsoft Excel) and experience reporting and data analysis
β’ Experience with digital technology such as CMS, Ecommerce, Marketing Automations, CRM, PIM, and APIs (ideally Sitefinity)
β’ Needs to be tech-savvy, collaborative, intrinsically motivated and a continuous learner
β’ Must be able to manage multiple projects and have strong organization skills
β’ Strong questioning and listening skills, an analytical mindset, business acumen, and creativity
β’ Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and execution best practices
β’ Basic understanding of HTML and CSS markup
