POSITION SUMMARY:
As an Analytics & Insight Manager- Digital, you will play a vital role focused on gathering data and applying impactful analytics, finding key learnings, and producing relevant reports to drive growth in our digital commerce business. Someone eager to take the next step in their career and to drive best-in-class business analytics that support our digital businesses.
Essential Job Function:
• Build a best-in-class consumer-centric insights machine; the data foundation to support analysis and recommendations that drive growth in our digital businesses (Amazon, Implus’ multitude of web shops and other online revenue channels).
• Interpret complex data problems & structures and gather requirements to develop reporting and analysis solutions to meet the needs of the business and stakeholders. Use business storytelling abilities to provide insights that include a root cause and actionable solutions.
• Work independently with large data sets to create data solutions. Correlate, synthesize, validate, understand and report operational, customer engagement, quantitative and qualitative data points to identify key insights and trends.
• Integrate disparate datasets from across internal/external sources to formulate a consolidated view of brand health metrics, channel performance and opportunities to support key marketing decisions
• Work with our Digital team and IT to select and champion the right set of technological and architectural choices to support data gathering, syndication, integration, and analysis.
• Develop, gather, validate and communicate digital KPI’s or other metrics.
• Provide reports such as Search Terms, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Search Reports, Inventory Analysis, Monthly Business intelligence reports, total overview sales reports, media reports, ARA premium insights and Amazon Marketing Cloud
• Be the expert who explains the data and how it can be applied to drive actions for better results – teach, mentor, enable.
• Directly support the Digital Leadership, working together on digital business analysis, ad hoc tasks, reports and presentations.
• This role will get visibility into many parts of the Implus organization and have a voice in key discussions within the team as well as with executive leadership
Minimum Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Advanced Analytics skills including tools such as Excel Power Query, PowerBI and Sigma Computing.
• Platform knowledge of Amazon reporting (Vendor and Seller Central), Google Analytics and Stackline is a plus.
• Strong business acumen to guide analysis and conclusions.
• Ability to span from lowest level detailed analysis to executive level summaries and interactions.
• Desire to move our Data Analytics from what it is to what it should be.
• Ability to navigate a matrix organization to find, develop and streamline data source
• Comfort with a global scope.
• Knowledge of digital marketing is a major benefit.
• A mindset to embrace the wonderful chaos and fast pace of digital marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Licensed CPA and/or public accounting experience
• 5+ years relevant business analytics or ecommerce experience or relevant to the field.
• Either General Analytics, Finance, Digital Commerce, Marketing or Digital Marketing profile.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use storytelling to influence decisions.
• Comfort with financial measurements and Calculations like Gross Profit, Cost of Goods Sold and Revenue.
• Experience with Amazon 1P and 3P business is desirable.
Education & Experience:
A bachelor's degree in a related field of study OR a combination of education & experience will be considered.
Relevant Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
• Observe/Identify: The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
• Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.
• Operate: Write, type and use the telephone, copier, and computer systems.
• Stationary position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50- 75% of the time.
• Mobility: Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc.
