They are seeking a hands-on Analytics Manager to drive data-informed decision-making, partner with Sales and Finance, and manage an analyst while delivering high-impact insights and building scalable reporting.
Responsibilities:
β’ Serve as a strategic partner to Sales, Finance, and cross-functional teams.
β’ Analyze trends in marketplace performance, buyer/seller behavior, and financial metrics.
β’ Deliver clear, actionable insights that inform planning, forecasting, and strategic decisions.
β’ Lead end-to-end analytical projects, from data exploration to stakeholder-ready presentations.
β’ Build dashboards and reports that support operational workflows and business visibility.
β’ Own key metrics and drive clarity on performance trends.
β’ Manage and mentor an analyst, supporting their technical growth and business impact.
β’ Help prioritize team workstreams and maintain a high standard of output.
β’ Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
β’ Help design and maintain scalable data models and transformations (e.g., in dbt).
β’ Collaborate with data engineering to improve pipeline quality and data accessibility.
β’ Advocate for reliable, well-structured data to support long-term analytics needs.
Qualifications:
Required:
β’ 5+ years in analytics or data science, including 1-2 years managing or mentoring others.
β’ Advanced SQL skills; Python or similar scripting experience is a plus.
β’ Experience with BI tools (Looker, Tableau) and data modeling tools (e.g., dbt).
β’ Strong understanding of business and financial metrics; FP&A exposure a plus.
β’ Excellent communication skills and a track record of influencing stakeholders.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a quantitative or business-related field.
Preferred:
β’ Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or retail analytics preferred.
