As an API Integration Architect the resource should be architecting, designing, and implementing API solutions across various industries. Should be able adept at leveraging cloud technologies, microservices architecture, and best practices in API management to deliver robust and scalable solutions. Should have proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders to drive technical innovation and achieve business objectives. Knowledge of Managed File Transfers is desirable. Exposure to Cloud/Hybrid environment (OpenShift/AWS/VMware) development is a plus. Responsibilities will include the following: • Manage the API lifecycle using Apigee, optimizing performance and reliability and provide centralized control over API traffic, security, and analytics. • Meet with application teams to understand requirements and recommend high-level direction and approach to upcoming projects. • Provide technical leadership in the transition to a microservices architecture, reducing system complexity and improving maintainability. • Develop and maintain web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. • Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on AWS. • Design and implement a cloud-based MFT solution on AWS, enabling secure and scalable file transfers for a global e-commerce platform. • Play a key role in the migration of legacy systems to cloud-based solutions on Azure. • Develop and maintained web services to support business operations and third-party integrations. • Architect microservices-based systems on AWS and Azure, enhancing system flexibility and performance. • Attend ARB meetings to understand the new project requirements, as related to API and Integration design, build and implementation solutions. • Enhance application performance through efficient API design and optimization techniques. • Design and implement comprehensive API and integration solutions for enterprise clients, aligning with their strategic goals and technical requirements. • Implement API security protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and JWT, to safeguard sensitive data. • Improve data accuracy and reduce transaction processing time through optimized integration workflows. • Integrate the MFT solution with existing ERP and CRM systems, streamlining data exchange and improving operational efficiency. • Implement CI/CD pipelines to streamline the deployment process and reduce time-to-market.
