Job description: Art Director – Fashion & E-Commerce The Art Director combines creative leadership with hands-on execution, responsible for shaping the brand’s visual identity across campaigns, social media, e-commerce, and marketing materials. We’re looking for someone with a natural understanding of art, culture, texture, and storytelling—able to translate ideas into visuals that feel elevated, distinctive, and connected to our audience. This role is tailored to our brand needs, and requires someone deeply involved in visuals and graphic design direction while also meeting deadlines. Every campaign, illustration, and shoot must balance creativity while driving engagement and attention to the brand. The Art Director will report directly to the Brand Director and Head of Marketing, collaborating with the creative team to ensure every visual not only inspires but also strengthens the brand’s presence across social and e-commerce. Responsibilities: • Lead and direct post-production with designers, editors, and other creatives—reviewing, refining, and ensuring all outputs meet the highest creative standards. • Pre-illustrate designs, concepts, and layouts to guide creative direction before production. From emails, to instagram stories. • Research and and present moodboards, narratives, and visual references that bring ideas from reference to life while making them unique to the brand. • Protect and evolve the brand’s artistic DNA, ensuring every campaign, post, and visual element feels intentional, textured, and cohesive. • Be hands-on when needed—refining visuals, adjusting angles, retouching, or enhancing layouts to elevate the creative work further. • Drive engagement and attention to the brand through visuals. Ensure creative output is tailored for maximum impact across social media, e-commerce, and digital marketing channels. • Collaborate in the full art direction of the brand, including ideation of new logos, visual identity elements, and long-term creative evolution. • Oversee campaigns from concept through production to final delivery, maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms. • Stay ahead of trends in fashion, art, and culture. Respect and protect brand's DNA. • Stay obsessed with delivering the strongest visual presence possible, always pushing the brand’s creative work above and beyond expectations. • Document and refine creative processes, ensuring efficient workflows across the team. Skills Required • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere/After Effects). • Proven experience leading creative teams in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle industries. • Hands-on expertise in photography direction, design, and editing. • Strong ability to interpret and translate art, texture, and narrative into compelling visual direction that aligns with the brand at all times. • Deep knowledge of fashion storytelling for social media and e-commerce. • Excellent communication and feedback skills—able to inspire and align creative teams. • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines. • Strong aesthetic sensibility with a balance of creativity and commercial awareness. • Experience balancing creative vision with marketing and business objectives. Experience Requirements • Portfolio required showcasing campaigns, storytelling, and visual direction. • 3 years of direct experience in art direction or senior creative roles within fashion, beauty, or e-commerce. • Priority will be given to candidates based in Miami with at least 3 years of experience in fashion or beauty, specifically at brands or companies with 50,000+ Instagram followers and a strong e-commerce presence. • Demonstrated success in delivering campaigns that merged artistry with measurable performance across social media and e-commerce platforms. • Experience managing and mentoring multi-disciplinary creative teams. Education Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Arts, Communications, or a related field preferred. • Equivalent hands-on experience in art direction may substitute formal education.
