Art Director
GLD was founded in 2014 with a vision to design and create high-quality and stylish men’s jewelry that is also affordable. Fast forward a decade, and we’re the largest and most recognizable brand in the space, partnering with musicians, athletes, and cultural events like Rolling Loud and the Superbowl. As a member of this fast-growing team, you will be responsible for the look and feel of GLD across all customer touchpoints.
Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in fashion, streetwear, or e-commerce creative roles
• Expertise in photography, design, layout, and typography — both digital and print
• Strong experience art directing shoots with models and products (studio and lifestyle)
• Familiarity with creative best practices for performance marketing across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
• Hands-on ability with all modern creative utilities, e.g. Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), etc.
• Proven experience leveraging AI and automations to accelerate the content creation process.
• Methodical and detail-oriented with the ability to juggle multiple projects and production budgets
• Excellent communicator and team collaborator
• Proven ability to make swift decisions aligned with business objectives and brand identity
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and drive results in a dynamic startup environment.
ResponsibilitiesCampaign & Ecomm Shoots
• Lead creative direction and shot lists for all ecomm and campaign shoots
• Oversee on-set direction of models, lighting, and styling to align with brand narrative
• Partner with merch and marketing teams to map creative to commercial objectives
• Hands-on ownership of budget and production processes
Paid Ads & Performance Creative
• Develop high-performing visual concepts for Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and CTV
• Collaborate with the performance team to test and iterate ad creative rapidly
• Manage videographers and editors for content, motion graphics, and retargeting units
Design & Digital Assets
• Own design execution across ecomm and in-store assets
• Ensure visual consistency across touchpoints — typography, composition, color, and hierarchy
• Manage graphic design pipeline and timelines with internal or freelance support
Creative Strategy & Leadership
• Translate seasonal campaign briefs and drop calendars into compelling visuals
• Build and maintain brand style guides, creative templates, and asset libraries
• Collaborate cross-functionally with growth, retention, partnerships, and merchandising
• Mentor and build team of in-house creatives, fostering a collaborative and brand-obsessed culture focused on innovation, continuous improvement, and achieving ecommerce goals.
