As Assistant Merchandiser, you'll play a key role in helping their product team manage stock, plan future buys, and support smart, insight-led decisions across the business. This is an ideal next step for someone who already has merchandising experience and wants to build their career in a fast-moving, collaborative & fun environment. What you'll be doing: • You'll lead on preparing Monday trade reports, delivering sharp weekly analysis with clear actions that highlight risks, spot opportunities, and support commercial decision making. • You'll create ad hoc reporting and performance insight across categories, helping both the merchandising team and wider business make better-informed choices. • Responsible for maintaining line cards, forecasting, and planning sales and stock, you'll play a key role in influencing buy suggestions. • You'll regularly review intake versus plan, taking into account freight budgets, supplier timelines and any external constraints, and help guide Merchandising Admin Assistants on intake decisions. • You'll own the end-to-end stock ordering process - from raising purchase orders to sending barcodes and managing delivery schedules. • Working closely with the Senior Merchandiser, you'll support in building seasonal reporting packs and post-season learnings with clear commentary and commercial insight. • You'll help develop and mentor our Merch Admin Assistant, sharing your knowledge and supporting their growth. • You'll also build strong cross-functional relationships with Buying, Ecommerce, Logistics and Marketing - this role touches almost every area of the business. We're looking for someone who: • Has existing experience in merchandising - whether you're currently in an Assistant Merchandiser role, or a Merch Admin ready to step up. • Thrives on detail, data, and structure - someone who can spot patterns, solve problems, and keep things moving. • Brings a commercial mindset to every conversation, with a clear understanding of how stock flows impact sales. • Is highly organised and proactive, with a real sense of ownership over their work. • Is fluent in Excel - vlookups, pivot tables, and manipulating data should feel second nature. • Communicates clearly and confidently, across all levels of the business.
