This role reports directly to the VP of Merchandising. Our team members are encouraged to develop and move into more challenging roles as their career progresses. β€’ Employee discounts at our affiliate brands which include– Value City Furniture, American What your day will look like: β€’ Coordinate with vendors and other cross functional team members to support product throughout its lifecycle (Photography, Copy, Assembly Instructions, etc.) β€’ Enters data and manages product detail spreadsheets regarding cost, retail, dimensions, product features and benefits β€’ Document process improvement initiatives to support learning and development effort for direct ship category of merchandise β€’ Pattern competitors on-line and in the local market and report findings to the team β€’ Act as liaison between vendors, Merchant teams, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders including accounts payable, IT, and customer care β€’ Manage promotional sales events tasks such as: calendar management, vendor submissions, pricing file updates, feature product selection, and internal communication β€’ Build and manage market schedule and vendor agendas for 3-4 markets annually The ideal candidate will have: β€’ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience β€’ Exceptional organizational skills β€’ Passion for designer furniture β€’ Strong interest in ecommerce channel β€’ Self-sufficient and independently drive actions β€’ Strong written and verbal communication β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel
