We’re seeking an Associate Director of Paid Media to lead strategy and execution across major accounts, manage budgets, guide our paid media team, and ensure client success. This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership, supporting OMG’s growth and scaling our paid media practice. Responsibilities: Paid Media & Strategy Execution β€’ Develop and oversee multi-channel paid media strategies (SEM, paid social, display, programmatic, e-commerce/shopper, and emerging platforms). β€’ Ensure campaigns are tied to measurable KPIs including ROAS, CAC, and CPA. β€’ Lead media buying activities, including negotiations, rate management, and inventory placement. β€’ Manage campaign budgets, pacing, and forecasting to ensure efficiency and profitability. β€’ Continuously monitor and optimize campaigns to maximize effectiveness and ROI. β€’ Collaborate with creative teams to align messaging, testing, and performance. β€’ Manage Google Tag Manager to ensure accurate data tracking across accounts. Client & Account Management β€’ Serve as a direct point of contact for client accounts, building trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on goals and strategy. β€’ Present insights, performance reports, and strategic recommendations in client meetings and quarterly business reviews. β€’ Lead case study creation, reporting frameworks, and brand planning deliverables. β€’ Partner with clients to manage expectations, solve challenges, and uncover growth opportunities. β€’ Support OMG leadership in upselling and preparing pitch decks and proposals. Team Leadership & Internal Management β€’ Oversee and manage internal paid media teams, ensuring resource allocation aligns with client needs and agency goals. β€’ Mentor and guide paid media specialists and strategists to achieve KPIs and deliver client success. β€’ Lead team planning, onboarding, and professional development initiatives. β€’ Foster collaboration across creative, analytics, and strategy teams to deliver integrated campaigns. β€’ Conduct training sessions on paid media trends, testing frameworks, and best practices. Reporting, Analytics & Innovation β€’ Own the reporting process for client campaigns, ensuring clear, accurate, and actionable insights are delivered on time. β€’ Translate data into strategic recommendations to optimize media spend and improve ROI. β€’ Stay ahead of paid media trends, platform updates, and consumer behavior shifts. β€’ Drive process improvements, automation, and reporting efficiencies. β€’ Represent OMG at conferences, in thought leadership, and in new business pitches when needed. Qualifications β€’ 5–8 years of paid media experience, ideally within an agency setting. β€’ Proven expertise in developing, executing, and reporting on multi-channel media strategies. β€’ Strong experience managing campaign budgets, pacing, and profitability. β€’ Skilled in client-facing presentations, direct account management, and strategic consultation. β€’ Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor internal teams. β€’ Advanced analytical skills with expertise in campaign reporting and optimization. β€’ Bonus: Hands-on experience with GA4, marketing automation, CRO, or programmatic platforms.
