About The Team DoorDash’s Commerce Platform empowers merchants with the tools they need to grow and operate their businesses—both in-store and online. Drive On-Demand is a key component of this platform, providing white-label fulfillment solutions for merchants across verticals such as Grocery, Convenience, Retail, Alcohol, Health, and more. The Commerce Platform Logistics team is a sustainable growth team within Commerce Platform. Within the Commerce Platform Logistics team, the Order Experience team , which includes both the post checkout experience and the refunds experience—ensuring that DoorDash Commerce Platform delivers the highest quality Merchant and Customer experience from checkout to delivery. This means expanding product offerings, improving the refunds experience and reducing our costs. This work helps accelerate growth for Merchants, ensures a high quality customer experience and helps reduce our refund cost line. About The Role At DoorDash, our goal is to empower local economies. A key part of that mandate is to ensure a strong order experience to allow merchants to scale e-commerce channels. We are looking for a leader with an “and not either/or” mindset who is passionate about driving sustainable growth. As an Associate Manager, DCP Lx Order Experience, you will play a key role in analyzing, tracking, and improving the order experience, partnering with cross-functional teams to identify trends, scope impactful initiatives, and support the execution of product go-to-market. Your work will be both strategic and deeply operational. One day, you might be sizing the impact of a change to our refund enforcement. The next day, you could be leading an experiment to test the impact of launching a new post checkout product in-market that will drive real-world improvements. As The Part Of This Team, You Will • Develop our long term vision for improving the order experience post checkout, including the refunds experience. • Partner with Analytics and Product to scope, size, and prioritize initiatives. • Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Engineering teams to help execute change internally. • Bring products to Merchants in partnership with Account Owners • Manage impacts to the refunds cost line • Define and Track North Star metrics You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will… • Support the design and execution of initiatives that tangibly improve the Merchant and Customer experience with DoorDash. • Analyze key indicators of order experience and contribute to defining north star metrics that track performance improvements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Account Management, Support and more • Run structured experiments and operational tests to uncover the best ways to improve the order experience and reduce refund exposure We’re Excited About You Because… • You have strong experience developing a strategy and can use data to identify trends, uncover root causes, and drive forward a vision plan. • You are execution-focused and can break down complex problems into actionable steps. • You are comfortable working with data— SQL and Excel/Google Sheets experience preferred. • You thrive in a cross-functional environment and are comfortable working with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, Account Management, and Support teams. • You are highly detail-oriented and have a strong ability to organize, track, and analyze performance data. • You have a bias for action and can operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. • You are customer- and merchant-obsessed and excited to help merchants scale their first-party fulfillment through Drive On-Demand. • Have 4+ years of relevant experience • You have a Bachelor’s degree. Compensation The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future. See Below For Paid Time Off Details • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year. • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).
