Role description
Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Associate Product Manager to join our Client's team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The primary function of this role is to be a support for the Recommendations & SEO Product Domain which includes Product Recommendations, Search & Browse experience, Guided Selling, SEO, and App Store Optimization.
DUTIES:
β’ Daily review, triage and prioritization of bugs on the website/apps;
β’ Attendance at daily standup meetings; user story and acceptance criteria drafting for various projects; Helping to negotiate which stories get played and which move to a future sprint;
β’ Throughout a sprint cycle, monitoring the JIRA boards and reports to ensure Product is helping Engineers and QA get the information they need to work fluidly on stories and bugs
β’ Supports cross-functional teams comprised of both business roles (i.e. Client Experience; Production) and Tech roles (Engr; UX; QA) during the life cycle of product development; champions the needs of clients (users); develops detailed requirements and feature definitions; partners with Tech on development, testing & implementation plans, as well as internal communications & deployment plans.
β’ Works with Developers, UX and Design to work through all interaction details for a personalized website experience.
β’ Collaborates with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements, creating buy-in from other teams as necessary.
β’ Vets scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA, design and 3rd party vendors. Proactively identifies issues. Works closely with key business leaders at senior levels.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
β’ Deep understanding of the front-end capabilities of ecommerce responsive websites and ability to translate UX designs into actionable user stories.
β’ Superior relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills within cross functional teams.
β’ Ability to identify and understand user problems related to both the internal and external client and recommends practical solutions.
β’ Nimble and flexible with regards to changing priorities & business needs, and in working with diverse teams & people.
β’ Proven ability to meet critical deadlines.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects β excellent at prioritization, planning, task delegation, and working with peers in a cross-functional setting.
β’ Intermediate to advanced proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, Aha!, communication platforms (Slack, MS Teams, ZOOM) and other industry-standard tools.
β’ Experience with onsite personalization, such as product recommendations, dynamic filtering, and personalized content.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
β’ Bachelorβs Degree required
β’ 3 years in product management with a successful history of launching highly effective websites
β’ 3-5 years of consumer-based online experience.
