The Role Our Associate Retoucher will be responsible for hands-on retouching and quality control. An ideal candidate will have an artistic background and a strong understanding of photography aesthetics. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are appreciated. The Associate Retoucher is a junior-level position with an expected experience of at least six months in a retouching or image coordination role. The Job • Report to the Post-production Manager and collaborate with producers to establish deliverables and timelines • Quality check images throughout the process, using in-house guidelines to ensure clients' expectations are matched • Assist in basic video editing and color correction to ensure consistency across both still and motion assets, supporting cohesive visual storytelling for all digital platforms • Match client guidelines and expectations for each account • Create new and update existing guidelines as they evolve or change • Ability to retouch, I.E., work on still imagery, shaping, pathing, etc • Ability to color-match from digital and physical swatches • Update and interact with The Line Studios project management system • Prepare files according to client specifications for the Accounts team to deliver • Audit and clean digital archive across internal storage devices You • Well-versed in Photoshop and can demonstrate the ability to create detailed paths, retouch skin, tabletops, and various editorials • Have a complete understanding of Mac OS, Photoshop, Bridge, and photography programs • Familiar with Excel / Google Sheets, and understand how to VLookup Up, Concatenate, and sort data • Collaborate well with other team members • Can give and receive specific direction/criticism well • Are enthusiastic about the e-commerce industry • Have studio experience, in some capacity • Research and utilize AI-powered retouching tools and software to enhance efficiency and precision, ensuring high-quality image output while adhering to brand guidelines • You love solving problems, no matter how big or small, and are a creative thinker • You take ownership of your work and always strive to improve • You understand how to portray professionalism at work • Candidates must have strong communication skills, be timely, and be open to feedback • BONUS - experience in After Effects and Da Vinci Why Join Us? • Work with an industry-leading team in a fast-growing creative production studio • Collaborate with top fashion and beauty brands to create high-impact imagery • Gain hands-on experience across all aspects of production, with opportunities for growth • Be part of a collaborative, supportive, and forward-thinking work environment • Work in a creative, vibrant environment • Opportunity to work in a respected, high-energy studio space with a fun, friendly team If you’re passionate about creating industry-leading imagery in a creative environment, we’d love to hear from you!
