Role description
Position Overview: Take charge of driving the company’s Marketing Strategy while enhancing Brand Awareness across the UK market. Collaborate closely with the Head of Marketing and Sales to ensure seamless and impactful communication of the brand both externally and internally. This role encompasses full management of the Initio Marketing Department, including key responsibilities such as budgeting, trade marketing, and leading retailer strategy meetings. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Marketing Calendar Execution: Oversee the implementation of the annual Marketing Calendar, ensuring the successful delivery of all marketing activities and major product launches while maintaining consistent brand messaging. Budget Management: Develop and manage the annual budget for the Initio Marketing Department, ensuring financial oversight and alignment with strategic goals. Retailer Relationships: Cultivate and manage relationships with key retailers, acting as the primary point of contact for marketing initiatives. Retailer Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with the team to address individual retailer needs, creating bespoke plans that drive in-store and online sales growth. Launch Reports: Evaluate the P&L of each product launch and significant marketing activity, delivering actionable insights to optimize future efforts. Permanent Builds: Lead all aspects of permanent builds, including coordination with internal and external teams for planning, approvals, and cost management. E-Commerce Optimization: Partner with brand teams to ensure the UK Initio E-shop operates at peak performance, delivering an exceptional customer experience online. Public Relations Oversight: Work closely with both internal and external PR teams, reviewing and approving all activations to ensure adherence to brand values and standards. Departmental Leadership: Support the Head of Marketing and Sales by taking full responsibility for the Initio Marketing Department, driving new business opportunities, managing existing projects, and handling ad hoc assignments as needed. In-Store Execution: Oversee all aspects of in-store activations, collaborating closely with the sales team to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to enhance brand presence and performance at the store level. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a marketing role, showcasing expertise and a proven track record of success, particularly in collaborating with key retailers such as Harrods and Selfridges. Core Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and presentation abilities, essential for leading initiatives and collaborating effectively. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, ensuring professional and efficient work output.
