Brand Manager
Are you passionate about building iconic brands and executing creative marketing strategies that deliver results?
Do you have experience in supporting brand initiatives across diverse markets, including product development, innovation, and in-store launch plans?
Can you collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners to drive brand growth in key categories?
MacGregor Black are partnering with a Global Market Leading Consumer Goods Brand, on the search for an Brand Manager. This role is onsite based in Cambridgeshire.
As the Brand Manager, you will be responsible for delivering impactful marketing campaigns across multiple channels and territories. You will support two well-established brands β by helping develop and execute brand strategies that engage consumers and support growth in the DIY, Mass Retail, and eCommerce sectors. This role is suited to an enthusiastic and organised marketing professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Develop and lead a bold 3-year growth strategy, defining market focus and competitive advantage. Build category leadership through innovation, customer focus, and flawless execution.
β’ Drive consumer-led product development, leveraging insights, trend analysis, and channel intelligence to deliver premium gloves that meet specific market needs.
β’ Curate and evolve the product range, rationalising SKUs where appropriate and making clear decisions on what to keep, remove, or launch next.
β’ Shape and execute impactful launch plans across all channels, creating engaging content, assets, and activations spanning packaging, POS, and digital.
β’ Partner with Sales and Category teams to adapt strategies for major national accounts and independent retailers, ensuring alignment with customer needs and ways of working.
β’ Collaborate across Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, and Design to ensure seamless delivery of the plan, acting as the key voice of the gloves business internally and externally.
β’ Own margin, pricing, product mix, and promotional effectiveness; monitor KPIs regularly and take swift corrective action when required.
β’ Maintain rigorous organisation, ensuring timely delivery of all brand content, including catalogues, promotional assets, exhibitions, eCommerce materials, imagery, and samples.
What are we looking for?
β’ 5+ yearsβ consumer brand experience, ideally in home, garden, or DIY sectors.
β’ Proven success in growing branded product portfolios.
β’ Hands-on product development expertise, from concept to shelf
β’ Commercially astute with full P&L ownership, pricing, and margin management
β’ Strategic thinker able to simplify complexity and translate into actionable plans.
β’ Strong executional drive β delivers quickly, to high standards, and owns outcomes.
β’ Consumer insight-led; skilled at using data, research, and instinct to build products and stories
β’ Influential communicator, effective cross-functionally and with external stakeholders.
β’ Digitally fluent: Advanced Excel/PowerPoint; Power BI an advantage.
β’ Degree-qualified, fluent in English (German a plus), with UK driving license and flexibility to travel UK & Europe.
