Role description
Job Summary
The Brand Specialist role plays a key part in enhancing brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and building long-term brand equity. The Brand Specialist works cross-functionally to ensure consistent brand identity and messaging across all channels. They support the management of a portfolio of private label brands across categories including smallwares, light equipment, and non-durables.
The Brand Specialist serves Clarkβs Procurement division, which buys products for our various distribution channels (industry leading Ecommerce platform WebstaurantStore.com, The Restaurant Stores, Clark National Accounts, Clark Food Service Equipment, and 11400, Inc.). In 2024, we reached $3.6B in sales from a catalog of 450K+ SKUs.
Responsibilities
β’ Manage and maintain all brand support and resources for current items, including documentation, marketing materials, training content, and internal/external resources. Support merchants in effectively launching new items.
β’ Assist in brand development and enforcement of brand guidelines. This includes auditing active items to ensure packaging, logos, marketing materials, and content align with brand standards. Help safeguard brand integrity for long-term success.
β’ Develop and execute annual marketing plans for private label brands to drive revenue growth and brand awareness, in alignment with merchant category strategies.
β’ Oversee the day-to-day execution of cross-channel marketing campaigns. Collaborate with merchants to ensure accurate product and pricing information for promotions and sales.
β’ Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills to facilitate timely and effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
β’ Support in the creation of new brand websites and the maintenance of existing ones.
β’ Lead initiatives related to media advertising, ensuring alignment with the brandβs message and vision.
Physical Requirements
β’ Work is performed while sitting/standing and interfacing with a personal computer.
β’ Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
β’ Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
β’ Requires occasional bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
β’ Requires the ability to occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs.
Experience
