As Digital Director, you will be a key member of the agencyโs Craft team. You will be a digital lead across a number of tier 1 agency clients, working with and leading a team of specialists. You will be an expert in paid media channels and have the autonomy to proactively build strong working relationships with internal and external contacts whilst ensuring all your accounts surpass minimum expectations of best practice.
You will work closely with our Leadership, Client Planning and Technology teams to solve problems for our clients and deliver best in class planning and buying across core digital channels to meet and surpass our clientโs business objectives.
Media
You will contribute to the strategy & planning across our digital media client portfolio to meet and exceed their expectations, and lead the digital programme of work for your clients.

All three pillars work closely together allowing for innovation, automation and market leading integrated media solutions that push the boundaries of our industry.
We deliver market leading solutions for our clients which will meet their campaign objectives in the most cost effective way with ideas and partners that our clients may never have been previously aware of.
You will be responsible for the core channel executions within campaigns and aip product development & innovation in these areas. These channels include (but are not limited to) paid search, shopping, paid social, online display, video and audio advertising.
Connectivity and Automation
As a core pillar of our business, we expect you to help us to connect and automate everything we can.
Within your role as Digital Director, we want you to input into the development of bespoke tools that can help our business innovate, grow and differentiate from the competition.
You will deliver client solutions that maximise impact and minimise low-value effort. You will have full support of our tech team and we expect you to develop our automated capabilities through identifying opportunities for automation and liaising with our automation team.
Finally, as part of a team, we want you to develop your skills in emerging technologies and help shape our product capabilities.
Knowledge
You will help us to develop and deliver training programmes for all of our clients.
You will provide thought leadership across our business and the industry.
Finally, and most importantly, you will have a ruthless desire to improve through ongoing self-development.
Responsibilities
โ Work collaboratively with the Head of Media to continuously develop the agencyโs digital offering across all core channels. This includes Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic.
โ Digital performance lead on a number of core agency clients, owning the day to day client relationships alongside Client Planning. You will coordinate and oversee the digital activity and at times, will be expected to be hands-on with campaign management and optimisation.
โ Execute digital media planning & buying. Develop cross channel requests for proposals, evaluate proposals and finalise buy recommendations. Be accountable for on-time, on-budget campaigns, reporting and quality assurance of all ad placements in-market.
โ Working with the Client Planning team, contribute to defining a clientโs media strategy and understand why strategic decisions were made on assigned brands and the implications.
โ Support with new business acquisition and pitching, often acting as a senior face of the digital department.
โ Accountable for digital thought leadership internally and with clients, proactively contributing to new ideas on a regular basis
โ Work with the Technology team to identify and streamline the internal digital processes to save time which can be reinvested into campaign development and optimisation.
โ Independently develop innovative media recommendations and POVs. Own campaign optimisation recommendations. Transform research data into actionable customer insights, observations and conclusions
Skills And Qualifications
โ A minimum of 5 years experience in paid media with an excellent working knowledge of core channels such as Paid Search (Google & Microsoft), Paid Social (Facebook, Snapchat, TikTok) and Programmatic (Display & Video).
โ An expert in your field with a proven record in delivering successful acquisition and retention campaigns through core digital channels (most notably Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic).
โ Experience leading performance-focused accounts and a team of specialists for clients across a range of industry verticals. Experience with ecommerce is important.
โ Ability to Partner with a Data & Insights team to deliver world-class reporting, with an active role in analysing channel performance and providing guidance on future investment.
โ High levels of confidence in presenting complex ideas to clients and building lasting partnerships.
โ Highly numerical and analytical with high levels of proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets. You must be results and outcome-driven with a high level of attention to detail.
โ Ability to turn ideas into engaging and stimulating slides for internal and external presentations on performance, new business and external industry events.
โ Fluid in the language of marketing attribution models and performance measurement.
