Role description
About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst to support the Marketplace implementation, working in close collaboration with the Product Manager and cross-functional Scrum teams. The ideal candidate will play a key role in translating business needs into clear, actionable requirements that help enable third-party selling capabilities via the Mirakl platform.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact digital commerce transformation program in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with the Product Manager to understand product vision, roadmap, and strategic objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements across Marketplace workflows (e.g., seller onboarding, product catalog, transaction flows).
• Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment and clarity of user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Support the creation and grooming of product backlogs in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Translate marketplace-specific needs into detailed BRDs/FRDs, process flows, and data mappings.
• Drive cross-functional workshops with engineering, QA, and operations to clarify scope and delivery expectations.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies including planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to UAT planning and execution by defining test scenarios, validating results, and supporting defect triaging.
• Continuously identify process improvements and contribute to product optimization initiatives.
Required Qualifications
• 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in retail, e-commerce, or digital platforms.
• Experience working with or supporting Mirakl or similar marketplace platforms (e.g., Salesforce Commerce, SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce).
• Strong stakeholder management skills — able to engage effectively with product, engineering, business, and seller ops teams.
• Solid understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel, and process mapping tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting a Marketplace implementation is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with seller onboarding flows, catalog management, payment flows, and third-party integrations.
• Retail or omnichannel domain experience is a must.
