What we're looking for Our client, an influencer marketing agency helping DTC, CPG, and retail brands scale through creator partnerships, is seeking a Business Developer to close high-value deals, lead outbound efforts, and help build the sales engine from the ground up. This role is essential for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and contributing directly to the agency’s scale-up journey. Responsibilities β€’ Lead discovery calls and manage both inbound and outbound sales opportunities. β€’ Execute cold outreach strategies via email and phone to generate qualified calls. β€’ Target decision-makers (CEOs, Heads of Marketing) at e-commerce and enterprise brands. β€’ Close high-retainer clients and manage the sales cycle from outreach to signed contract. β€’ Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Pandadocs, and Google Suite to track and manage leads and pipeline. Requirements β€’ 4+ years in agency sales, account management, or business development. β€’ Proven ability to close $100K–$500K+ annual contracts with strong close rates. β€’ Experience selling to 8 and 9 figure DTC, CPG, or Retail brands. β€’ Demonstrated success generating $1M+ in new annual revenue. β€’ Skilled in outbound strategies, confident on calls, and experienced in proposal creation. Nice to Have β€’ Rolodex of decision-makers in the DTC space. β€’ Experience building outbound processes and leading SDRs or BDRs. β€’ Familiarity with influencer marketing or performance marketing environments.
