About the Role:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ShipDudes, your job is to fuel our pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying growing eCommerce brands that would benefit from our fulfillment services.
You’ll be the first point of contact in the sales cycle — researching and reaching out to brands, asking smart questions, qualifying their fit, and booking calls for our Account Executives. This role is the front line of our growth engine and ideal for someone looking to break into B2B sales, master outreach, and grow fast within a high-performance team.
You’ll be supported with hands-on training, clear targets, and access to industry tools like Hubspot, Apollo, and Gong. You’ll develop valuable hard skills such as data analysis for sales insights, prospecting strategies, negotiation techniques, and consultative selling methods—building a strong foundation for long-term success in a sales career.
What You’ll Do:
• Identify and prospect high-growth eCommerce brands across categories like health & wellness, beauty, supplements, apparel and more
• Execute daily outreach via cold calls, email, LinkedIn, and social channels
• Qualify prospects based on their size, volume, and fulfillment needs
• Set up qualified meetings for our Account Executives
• Track all activity and lead info accurately into CRM
• Work closely with the sales team to refine pitch messaging, ICP targeting, and outreach sequences
• Participate in weekly pipeline reviews and team huddles to stay sharp and accountable
• Meet and exceed your monthly and quarterly targets
What You Bring:
• No experience required (If you have worked somewhere for +1 year that is a plus, but right out of college is perfectly fine) — just hunger, grit, and strong communication skills
• Past internships, school projects, or jobs involving sales, cold calling, or customer-facing roles are a plus
• You thrive in a competitive environment and bounce back quickly from rejection
• Organized, coachable, and detail-oriented — you know how to follow a playbook
• Self-starter with strong time management and follow-up habits and the willingness and drive to constantly learn
• Comfortable in a competitive environment, with evidence of personal ambition.
• Interest in eCommerce, logistics, or building a long-term career in sales
