About The Roleβ¦
We are seeking a results-driven, strategic thinker to join our team as a Business Lead. This role plays a key part in driving growth and performance across our e-commerce channels by leveraging data insights, shaping strategic initiatives, and leading cross-functional collaboration. The ideal candidate will bring at least 3 years of experience in a retail or e-commerce environment, with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for optimizing business outcomes. While not required, an appreciation for the cigar lifestyle is preferred and will help the candidate connect more deeply with our products and customers.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
β’ Analyze and report on key business metrics β revenue, profit, margin, and conversion β to identify trends and recommend strategic actions.
β’ Lead and manage promotional calendar and email slotting, ensuring alignment with business goals and collaborating with design and marketing teams on strategy, proofing, and execution.
β’ Provide strategic input on pricing and promotional strategies, ensuring alignment with financial targets and market positioning.
β’ Oversee website operations, including product setup, promotional execution, and continuous updates to content, assets, and imagery to enhance the customer experience.
β’ Champion website enhancements and optimizations, working cross-functionally with IT, design, marketing, and customer service to improve the shopping experience and drive performance.
β’ Contribute to product strategy, including SKU rationalization, onboarding new brands, and developing exclusive offerings aligned with customer demand and business objectives.
β’ Collaborate with marketing on lifecycle strategies including new-to-file (NTF) acquisition, retention, and reactivation efforts across digital channels.
β’ Support digital advertising initiatives, collaborating with marketing and design on creative, slotting, and promotional planning.
β’ Act as a liaison to the Contact Center, offering product expertise and supporting outbound sales initiatives.
β’ Balance short-term tactical execution with long-term strategic projects, ensuring deadlines are met while driving innovation.
β’ Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support evolving business priorities.
