The objective of the Category Coordinator is to support the Category Team in delivering commercial initiatives to support the category performance. The Category Coordinator will report into the Assistant Buyer/ Senior Buyer
Role Overview
β’ Be the central contact within the category team supporting across both stores & direct with the objective of making it easier for the customer to shop.
β’ Work with the buyers to maintain category, brand & product pages owned by the category.
β’ Develop & execute the category sampling strategy delivering the end-to-end sampling programmes including checkout & instore sampling, muti brand GWPs (Retention Gift & Category Nationwide), brand GWPs & product review programmes. Complete & report on post campaign analysis of programmes.
β’ Work alongside the AB / Buyer to strategically plan & execute online functionalities including cart specials, product recommendations, perfect pairing etc
β’ Work alongside the content marketing team to ensure a seamless customer journey across all online content including assets are correct, links are working & stock is available
β’ Work alongside the Visual Merchandising team to ensure all in store activity is executed on time to deliver an exceptional customer experience
β’ Be the key point of contact for the buying team for Store Support on VM, plannograms, brand queries
β’ Support the whole category team to analyse and report on brands and product performance, supporting with promotional and ad hoc analysis

β’ New customer acquisition at category and brand level
β’ Category and product page performance - traffic, conversion, bounce rate, add to bag
Skills, And Experience
β’ Organization skills to manage and deliver multiple tasks
β’ Commercial acumen and analytically oriented
β’ Self-starter
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills to support interactions with internal and external stakeholders
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
β’ Experience using Salesforce is preferred but not essential.
