Category Manager
Are you a category leader who thrives on turning data into action and strategy into results? The Advocate Group are looking for a talented Category Manager to shape the future of the spirits category with a fast-moving, globally recognised FMCG business.

The Opportunity
• Own category strategy for key national retailers and ecommerce partners
• Partner directly with commercial, brand, and shopper teams to build cross-functional plans
• Influence range, merchandising and innovation listings with compelling, insight-driven stories
• Lead the development of long-term growth plans, aligned with customer goals and market dynamics
• Take a leadership role, managing a Category Specialist and guiding their development
• Build trusted relationships with retailers to become a go-to partner for category expertise
What You’ll Bring
• Experience in a category or insight-led role within FMCG or retail
• Deep understanding of the UK grocery and/or ecommerce landscape
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to translate data into strategy
• Proven stakeholder management skills – confident influencing across functions and levels
• A natural collaborator with a passion for driving change and delivering growth
• Previous line management or mentoring experience is advantageous
