Chief Technology Officer 📍 Manchester | £140,000 – £200,000 + Bonus + Longer Term Incentives Hybrid My client is a high-growth, digital-first consumer brand with an international presence and a strong D2C model. Known for their pace, creativity and commercial success, they’re now looking for a strategic CTO to lead their technology function through the next phase of growth. The role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the wider leadership team across commercial, marketing and finance. The remit covers engineering, product, data and IT — with full ownership of the tech roadmap and delivery. Key responsibilities: • Define and execute the long-term technology strategy in line with business goals • Lead the development and optimisation of digital platforms including web, mobile and back-end systems • Ensure scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure to support global growth • Build and manage high-performing teams across engineering, data and IT • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve user experience and customer journey • Oversee DevOps, cybersecurity, compliance and cloud infrastructure Ideal background: • Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within a fast-paced digital or e-commerce environment • Strong technical foundation across cloud platforms (AWS, GCP or Azure), architecture and DevOps • Hands-on experience scaling D2C or omnichannel platforms (Shopify Plus, Magento, headless or custom solutions) • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to influence at board level • Comfortable being both strategic and hands-on Package includes: • 30 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays and birthday off • Private medical insurance, enhanced pension and flexible hours • Staff discount, onsite gym and regular socials This is a standout opportunity for a modern tech leader who thrives in a consumer-led, high-growth environment.
