Description:
I own a legally registered business (Tech Nova Hub Inc) and a high-potential domain/brand, digitalbynova.com, that is currently active but on standby. I'm looking for a co-founder or partner who can take the reins and scale the business in exchange for equity and future revenue or profit share.
Youβll have near-complete freedom to run operations, marketing, and product direction. I will support from the background with domain/IP, business setup, and advisory if needed. Iβm not involved day-to-day β Iβm looking for someone to lead.
This role will begin with a short-term contributor trial (1β3 months) to assess alignment and capability. If weβre a good fit, equity and formal responsibilities will be granted through a founder agreement, including a standard 4-year vesting schedule with a 1-year cliff.
Responsibilities
β’ Take full ownership of day-to-day operations and long-term growth strategy
β’ Envision, develop, and launch relevant products, services, or experiences under the Digital by Nova brand β these may be digital, physical, innovative, simple, or experimental
β’ Drive marketing, branding, and user/customer acquisition initiatives
β’ Explore partnerships, distribution opportunities, and new verticals
β’ Maintain brand consistency while evolving its voice and offerings
β’ Make high-level strategic decisions independently, with optional support or input from the founder
β’ (Optional) Assemble a small team or collaborators only if/when needed, using equity, rev share, or deferred compensation models β no upfront salaries expected
Qualifications
β’ Entrepreneurial mindset with strong initiative and problem-solving skills
β’ Experience with launching or scaling a startup, product, or community (even personal projects)
β’ Marketing, product development, and technical experience
β’ Comfortable operating independently and making leadership decisions
β’ Full-stack development experience (React, Next.js, Node.js, or similar frameworks)
β’ Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Python
β’ Familiarity with AI tools, APIs, or ML frameworks (e.g. OpenAI, TensorFlow, LangChain β even if early-stage)
β’ Experience building or shipping real products (MVPs, SaaS tools, web platforms, etc.)
β’ Comfortable working with Supabase, Firebase, Vercel, or similar tools for fast deployment
β’ Strong product thinking and user-oriented design approach
Bonus (Nice to Have)
β’ Experience with content strategy, marketing automation, or growth hacking
β’ Familiarity with digital product monetization (e.g. tools, subscriptions, courses)
β’ Understanding of Web3, NFTs, or crypto integrations (optional)
β’ Prior startup or solo founder experience
Compensation: Equity-based (negotiable), no salary.
Equity will be granted based on contribution, performance, and milestone completion, with a vesting schedule. No upfront equity is given. Equity will be offered on a performance-based vesting schedule (standard 4-year with 1-year cliff). In addition to equity, this role may include a revenue share or profit distribution agreement once the business generates income β allowing for earnings based on results, not just long-term valuation.
