As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a commercially minded analyst to play a key part in helping us understand what’s working, what’s not, and where to go next. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong grasp of numbers, an interest in ecommerce, and a real drive to develop.
The role
This role sits at the crossroads of data, business performance, and ecommerce strategy. Ideal for someone looking for a graduate pathway or with a small amount of experience. You’ll be based full-time at our Birchwood, Warrington office (25 minutes from Manchester city centre) and work closely with senior leaders across the company — including the CEO, CFO and CCO.
You’ll be involved in analysing everything from sales trends and marketing performance to product range profitability and supplier efficiency.
Things you’ll do
Every day is different, but these will be your core responsibilities Don't worry if you don't have direct experience in everything - we'll provide support and training:
• Monitor key performance indicators across marketing, sales, and product
• Monitor supply chain availability, stability & efficiency
• Support pricing, promotional, and profitability strategy
• Work with internal teams across departments to improve outcomes
• Share insights and recommendations directly with the senior leadership team
• Get involved in wider business-critical projects across Chillblast and CCL

Qualifications/ Experience
• Degree in a STEM or business related field
• Or 3 years + experience in a professional environment.

• Problem solving mindset & passion for data driven decision making
• Proficient in Microsoft excel
• Hands on data manipulation in SQL and Excel
• Proactive and hands on, with a desire to continuously improve processes and deeply understand the problem at hand
• Clear communicator – you can back up your findings
Desirable
• Data manipulation using multiple data sources and combining using power query/ powerbi
• Python/ R programming language
Knowledge
Essential
• Understanding what drives a business
• Understanding and being able to define what are the key ecommerce/ commercial performance indicators
Desirable
• Knowledge of statistical techniques and how to apply them.
