Job Summary The Communications & Business Support Specialist (CBSS) is a versatile and critical team member who will oversee digital content, brand presence, event coordination, and marketing execution—while also providing operational and administrative support. This role blends creativity and structure, helping to shape the customer experience, reinforce company culture, and promote the Mechanical Reps, Inc. brand across all channels. The CBSS will work closely with the leadership, sales, and administrative teams, as well as coordinate with corporate marketing, to align all messaging and campaigns with business goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on managing multiple projects, enjoys both strategic and hands-on work, and is excited to contribute to a growing, mission-driven organization. Key Responsibilities • Partner with the leadership team to execute internal and external marketing initiatives that reflect company culture and core values. • Collaborate with the corporate marketing team to implement marketing plans and campaigns at the local level. • Develop and publish digital content regularly, including newsletters, blog posts, social media content, case studies, and creative assets. • Support the sales team with tailored marketing materials for sales meetings, presentations, customer visits, and lunch-and-learns. • Coordinate logistics for factory visits, vendor tours, and customer site experiences. • Provide sales reporting support using ERP and related systems. • Monitor and optimize marketing performance using Google Analytics and vendor-specific dashboards. • Plan and manage digital and in-person events, including webinars, training sessions, trade shows, and the company’s annual customer appreciation events. • Design and produce marketing collateral, event signage, presentations, and invitations as needed. • Support the expansion and customer experience strategy for the new e-commerce platform. • Conduct regular check-ins with company leadership to report on marketing activity performance and alignment with business objectives. • Manage inventory and logistics for vendor samples, demos, and promotional materials. • Establish and manage a company store platform, including policies and vendor coordination. • Maintain and update the company website, social media accounts, and other digital touchpoints. • Develop and manage the annual marketing budget. • Design and manage employee training programs, including learning management system content and vendor training tracking. • Support onboarding for new hires and maintain company calendars and shared information hubs. • Serve as the main point of contact for third-party IT support, managing hardware/software assets, support tickets, and system updates. • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned. Qualifications and Competencies • Strong understanding of marketing content, digital platforms, and content management systems. • Ability to interpret marketing data and adjust strategies accordingly. • Relationship builder who can engage cross-functionally at all levels of the organization. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Proficient in project management, able to manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines. • Demonstrated leadership and proactive communication skills. • Proficiency in marketing tools, design software, analytics dashboards, and Microsoft Office Suite. • Familiarity with customer experience and e-commerce platforms is a plus. Education and Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. • Experience in marketing, communications, or business support roles preferred.
