Role description
The Consumer Website Marketing Lead - Commerce will lead all web marketing initiatives across Meta’s web commerce initiatives.You will partner with marketers, data analysts, creatives, and engineering teams to deliver on powerful data-driven insights that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion across our commerce websites. This role will work collaboratively to identify opportunities and solutions that support business goals and move our internal partners’ objectives forward in meaningful ways.You will demonstrate cross-functional and direct team leadership, fostering collaboration and innovation and owning outcomes.
Consumer Website Marketing Lead - Commerce Responsibilities:
• Manage a team of full-time web managers, including influencing a global, multi-disciplined workforce, who build and innovate Meta’s commerce website
• Drive transformation of how marketing and educational experiences are built and distributed across web surfaces
• Focus on building new scalable capabilities, experiences, and a roadmap for marketing content and experiences
• Lead the development of web initiatives (features/functionality, content, experiences) for the site based on business needs, data, insights, trends, etc. partnering closely with engineering and web development teams
• Define, drive, and track key performance indicators and success metrics for the site, content, and web development operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, scope, and deliverables and lead project execution
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Technical/Engineering or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in web marketing or a related field
• 3+ years of people management experience
• Experience leading web marketing efforts for large-scale commerce or e-commerce platforms
• Experience managing, mentoring, and developing teams towards achieving ambitious goals in a performance-driven environment
• Experience as a strategic thought leader driving commerce solutions and web marketing success through data-driven insights
• Experience partnering closely with analytics partners and drawing actionable insights from complex datasets to shape web marketing strategies
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, social media, and content marketing best practices
• Global or international marketing experience
• Experience in leading web marketing efforts for a comprehensive digital platform
• Communication and organizational skills with a emphasized focus on strategic planning and execution
• Master's Degree
