Lawhive is an online platform for consumers and small businesses to get legal help for a fraction of the cost of a law firm. Our platform combines regulated human lawyers collaborating alongside the worldβs first AI lawyer, specifically built for consumer legal work.
Equal access to the law is one of the biggest and most pressing unsolved problems in society today. Weβre passionate about leveling the playing field and believe access to the law should be a basic utility in society.
Our AI lawyer Lawrence is built on top of our own fine tuned LLM and recently passed the UKβs bar exam equivalent.
Weβre backed by some of the top US and UK VC funds including Google Ventures, Balderton Capital and TQ Ventures. We recently secured a $40M Series A funding round to facilitate international expansion and to grow our team, representing one of the five largest Series A rounds in Europe for 2024.
About This Role
We're a fast-growing startup and need someone who can build marketing operations while we scale. You'll have basic foundations in place, but need to rapidly evolve them into sophisticated conversion machines. This role combines hands-on execution with strategic ownership. You'll be building campaigns directly in Customer.io while also leading the CRO strategy and working with teams who handle the technical implementation.
You'll own optimization of the end-to-end customer journey, hands-on implementation of automation campaigns, and collaboration with product and engineering teams to launch website tests.
What You'll Do
Own Conversion Rate Optimization
β’ Map and optimize the complete customer experience from website visit through purchase and beyond
β’ Use analytics tools (GA4, PostHog/Mixpanel/Amplitude) to prioritize highest-impact optimization opportunities
β’ Build data-driven customer segments using CDPs and analytics tools to personalize conversion experiences
β’ Push hard on key conversion metrics: traffic β form completion β quote β purchase
β’ Identify conversion bottlenecks across our funnel and coordinate cross-functional teams to fix them
Lead Website Experimentation
β’ Own our testing strategy and roadmap - identify A/B test opportunities across landing pages, forms, and checkout process
β’ Drive rapid experimentation with external agencies and internal teams to optimize conversion at every funnel stage
β’ Communicate with product and engineering teams all marketing requirements for experimentation and automation
β’ Scale our testing velocity and optimization processes as we grow
Execute Marketing Automation
β’ Lead marketing automation - hands-on setup, management, and optimization of email and SMS campaigns across platforms
β’ Build and test automation workflows for lead nurturing, onboarding, win-back sequences, and lifecycle marketing
β’ Create and execute promotional campaigns, discount offers, and conversion-driving initiatives
β’ Segment audiences and personalize messaging based on user behaviour and customer journey stage
About You
β’ 5+ years in CRO, marketing automation, or growth marketing with B2C companies
β’ Hands-on experience with email automation platforms (Customer.io ideal, Klaviyo/similar good)
β’ Proven track record of website and post-lead conversion rate growth
β’ Customer journey mapping and multi-channel optimization experience
β’ Analytics proficiency - comfortable making quick decisions from data insights
β’ Experience managing agencies and coordinating with technical teams
