Position Overview
We are seeking a Creative Director of Design & Marketing with a sharp eye for aesthetics, a strategic marketing mindset, and a passion for turning vision into impact. This role is critical in elevating how we visually and strategically communicate our value to a diverse audience across North America. As a senior leader, you will shape the visual identity, marketing strategy, and customer-facing experience of the SpecBooks platform—bridging product design with bold, engaging marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead creative and marketing direction across all digital and physical touchpoints, including product design, marketing campaigns, branding, user experience, events, and sales collateral.
• Drive marketing campaign strategy and execution across channels (web, email, social, digital ads, print, etc.), ensuring cohesive storytelling and brand alignment.
• Oversee and refine the visual and messaging consistency of the SpecBooks brand across all customer journeys and market segments.
• Collaborate closely with product, leadership and sales teams to conceptualize and execute visually compelling, high-performing campaigns and presentations.
• Guide the production of high-quality marketing and product imagery, videos, and interactive content that supports engagement, lead generation, and user clarity.
• Develop and own brand guidelines and scalable design systems that ensure brand integrity across internal and external teams.
• Monitor trends in marketing, design, and customer experience to keep our approach fresh, relevant, and competitive.
• Leverage performance data and analytics to optimize creative output and improve marketing outcomes.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience in creative direction, brand design, or marketing leadership, with a strong portfolio showcasing both visual storytelling and marketing impact.
• Demonstrated success in marketing design for SaaS platforms, B2B technology, or e-commerce (experience in building materials or construction industry is a plus).
• Deep understanding of brand strategy, marketing funnels, and content planning.
• Strong creative sensibility with the ability to translate business goals into compelling campaigns and user experiences.
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Wordpress and marketing tools such as HubSpot, Canva, or similar.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
