Role description
Creative Growth Strategist – Paid Social, Content & AI 📝 Job Description The Role House of Willow Alexander is building a new kind of lifestyle institution. From our zero-emission garden teams to our curated household store and member-only HoWA programme, we offer a beautiful, sustainable, and service-first experience of home. And now, we’re ready to tell that story at scale. We’re hiring a Creative Growth Strategist to lead our paid social strategy, performance campaigns, and content ecosystem — powered by a deep understanding of AI, behaviour, and brand psychology. You’ll be the creative lead and growth architect, managing a small team (including our Social Media Manager) and shaping how we show up across channels. This is a full-time, in-office role based in South-East London. You'll report to the founder and work closely with senior leads across service, retail, and design. What You’ll Do • Develop and lead our full paid and organic content strategy • Oversee the Social Media Manager + content contributors, while staying hands-on with creative yourself • Create scroll-stopping content (copy, visuals, and video — either solo or with support) • Build AI-enhanced workflows for content production, A/B testing, and asset generation (e.g. Midjourney, ChatGPT, Runway) • Craft and manage campaigns across Meta, Pinterest, LinkedIn and future platforms • Build ads that convert — using emotion, not just metrics • Design and iterate our funnel creative for subscription services, product launches, and member acquisition • Own our creative strategy calendar, brand storytelling moments, and seasonal campaign rollouts • Act as a tastemaker: elevating everything we produce to reflect our design studio heritage • Thrive in a start up culture with ambition to have a directors seat of a national brand. About You • You’re a creative strategist with performance thinking and design sensibility • You understand the entire funnel — from awareness to loyalty — and how content fuels each stage • You’re fluent in AI tools and can work faster + smarter because of it • You can both direct and produce — leading others while also rolling your sleeves up • You get that content is not just communication — it’s culture creation • You love brand and performance equally — and don’t see the tension, only the opportunity Must-Haves • 4–7+ years in brand, growth, or performance creative roles • Proven experience creating + running successful paid social campaigns (Meta essential) • Strong copywriting and storytelling skills, especially for high-aesthetic or founder-led brands • Experience using AI tools for ideation, content production, and creative optimisation • A portfolio of content that drove both brand awareness and commercial return • Management skills: you’ve led small teams or junior creatives, and elevated the output • Taste. Nice-to-Haves • Experience with design-led lifestyle, interiors, home, or eco brands • Photography/video editing experience (even at a content-creator level) • Ecommerce or service subscription brand experience The Offer • Location: Full-time, in-office (South-East London) • Salary: £45,000–£55,000 depending on experience Perks: • Discounted access to all House of Willow Alexander services and HoWA membership • Future-facing creative freedom and a seat at the brand-building table • Ownership of all campaigns and the ability to build a team around your vision • Work somewhere with soul — where sustainability, beauty, and purpose are central
