Role Description As we continue to scale, we’re looking for a CRM Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our email and SMS marketing programs - owning the strategy, execution, and optimization of customer communications across the lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone who brings experience in health & wellness or supplements, understands the dynamics of subscription businesses, and thrives in a fast-moving environment where they can both lead and do. Key Responsibilities • Own and lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all email and SMS marketing programs—including campaign sends, automated flows, transactional messages, and more. • Build and manage comprehensive lifecycle journeys that increase engagement, drive retention, and improve subscriber LTV (welcome series, post-purchase, win-back, churn prevention, etc.). • Manage the subscription funnel, designing campaigns that reduce churn, increase upsell/cross-sell, and boost retention. • Leverage customer data to drive segmentation, personalization, and targeting across campaigns and flows. • Plan and execute A/B tests and experiments to drive continuous performance improvements. • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics (e.g., CTR, CVR, retention rate, LTV), and use data to inform future strategies. • Collaborate cross-functionally with the team to ensure CRM aligns with brand and business goals. • Lead agencies, contractors, and future junior team members as needed—while also being fully comfortable managing campaign builds, QA, and deployments yourself. Requirements • 4–6+ years of CRM, email, or lifecycle marketing experience in a supplement, wellness, or similar CPG brand. • Proven experience owning email and SMS marketing channels end-to-end, with strong results in retention and LTV growth. • Background in subscription-based businesses (Recharge, etc.) with a deep understanding of churn and retention dynamics. • Strong leadership and project management skills—you’ve led initiatives or teams, but still love getting hands-on. • Fluency in platforms such as Klaviyo; strong understanding of segmentation, flows, and testing. • Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with a strong ability to derive insights from customer behavior and campaign data. • Creative thinker with a strong pulse on customer psychology and wellness trends. • Excellent copywriting or creative brief-writing skills; comfortable guiding messaging strategy that aligns with brand tone.
