Hybrid – 2 days per week in Central London
Salary: Up to £70,000 + benefits
We’re supporting a high-growth, consumer-facing organisation in their search for a CRM & Retention Lead. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the CRM strategy of a creative, mission-driven business with a highly engaged global community.
The CRM & Retention Lead will own the end-to-end CRM and email marketing strategy, guiding a small team and collaborating cross-functionally to create engaging, data-led campaigns. With one of the largest CRM datasets in their sector, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting audiences with tailored, impactful communications and driving long-term customer loyalty.
Responsibilities
• Lead the overall CRM & retention strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Oversee and optimise mailing list health to drive sustainable growth and engagement.
• Develop and execute structured email marketing campaigns for key launches.
• Implement A/B testing, segmentation, and performance optimisation strategies.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and marketing teams to deliver high-quality, integrated campaigns.
• Mentor and guide a small CRM team, ensuring best practice and innovation.
Experience
• Proven experience leading CRM or retention strategies in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (e-commerce, consumer tech, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (e.g. Hubspot, Klaviyo, or comparable).
• Ability to combine analytical rigour with creative thinking in campaign design.
• Experience managing automated workflows and lifecycle marketing journeys.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• A data-driven mindset, with the ability to translate insights into action.
