Role description
Junior Client Strategist & Account Manager
Join the FurnitureDealer.Net Client Relations Team as a Junior Client Strategist and Account Executive.
Who We're Looking For
We’re looking for someone who wants to join us long term. If you’re just looking for a “job” or some “entry-level experience,” please do NOT apply. We want highly motivated self-starters who are committed to personal excellence—people who don’t just want to be good, they want to be great.
We invest in our team, and we expect our team to invest back in us. We want to work with people who enjoy working, don’t need constant direction, ask questions, figure out what needs to be done, and get it done. Curiosity, accountability, and humility are highly valued here. We believe work should be fun.
To succeed in this role, you must be passionate about helping our clients grow their businesses. We are driven more by values than money—our motto is: “We love making money by helping our partners make money.” Career happiness and personal excellence are achieved by focusing on others, obsessing over details, and doing great work.
About Us
FurnitureDealer.Net is an entrepreneurial internet technology, online marketing, content publishing, and management company located in Burnsville, Minnesota. We partner with over 100 full-service brick-and-mortar furniture retailers, building and managing their websites, publishing online digital catalogs, and strategizing with them to attract and serve consumers online and in-store.
Our mission is to help independent retailers compete with online giants by creating engaging online shopping experiences, showcasing beautiful showrooms, and providing tools that help retail teams succeed. We love working with people who are driven to be outstanding and extraordinary.
The Client Strategist Role
As a Junior Client Strategist, you will be the strategic advisor for our retailer clients. You will work closely with business owners, marketing officers, agencies, merchants, and technical teams to help clients grow and succeed online.
You’ll start by working directly with team leads to learn about our clients, their businesses, and how to solve problems using our platform. Over time, you will become the main point of contact for a group of clients, developing relationships and ensuring they are happy, successful, and see you as an indispensable partner.
Responsibilities
• Serve as the digital advisor for 25-30 clients
• Maintain client satisfaction and loyalty
• Be an expert user of our platform tools and capabilities
• Act as liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time
• Contribute to team projects and company initiatives
• Travel to 2+ industry markets per year
Relevant Skills & Tools (Helpful but Not Required)
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving
• Professional and clear communication
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and basic SEO
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience creating presentations or digital materials for clients
• Understanding of digital marketing concepts
Critical Strengths
• Attention to detail—95% is not enough
• Strong communication skills—explain options clearly to non-experts
• Tech-savvy—comfortable with complex platforms and digital tools
• Passion for online trends and ecommerce
• Bias toward action and a strong work ethic
• Professional, results-driven attitude and ability to implement feedback
