This role is to manage digital data products and create data solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to power analytics and insights for Currys ecommerce. You support the Digital Analytics and Data team to provide web analytics solutions. The responsibility include design, build and maintain scalable, robust and performant data pipelines and related systems that meet technical and functional requirements. Using your programming expertise, you will develop data model and pipelines, identify inefficiencies in existing processes and employ best-practices throughout.
Role overview:
As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:
β’ Owner of digital product clickstream data, marketing data, and related data pipelines in Google Cloud platform.
β’ Build, deploy and monitor automated and reliable production pipelines, providing data products in Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
β’ Build, own and enhance the data model and processes, in close collaboration with analysts, data scientists, solution architect and Infosec.
β’ Transfer datasets and automate the productions between clouds.
β’ Oversee Google Cloud Platform usage, cost monitoring and setup and manage user access.
This is a fantastic opportunity for problem solvers to hone their coding skill set, gain real business and commercial acumen, apply data and technical skills, and be exposed to large datasets in our cloud environment.
You will need:
β’ Experience in working in digital data environment, understanding of Adobe analytics and Google analytics clickstream data
β’ Strong programming skills with Python and SQL
β’ Experience in Google vertex AI and MLop
β’ Experience in Google Cloud Platform, Google Cloud Server, Microsoft Azure and Databricks
β’ Good stakeholder management skills and ability to gather requirements and make suitable business recommendations
β’ Good understanding of data management and governance concepts (data quality, data observability and metadata management) in large scale data deployments.
β’ Technology enthusiast, intellectually curious and problem solver
