Role description
Data & Insight Manager - Ecommerce
• Job Title: Data & Insight Manager
• Salary Range: £60,000 - £75,000 + discretionary bonus
• Location: Cardiff Area, Wales (Hybrid - 2 days/week in office) (With some potential flexibility)
Our client is a global consumer brand with nearly a century of heritage and a reputation for innovation. Following a recent acquisition by a leading private equity firm, they are undergoing a major transformation across digital, eCommerce, and operations. With a dynamic new leadership team and high-growth ambitions, this is a rare chance to join at a foundational stage, helping professionalise a business that's scaling fast across international markets.
The Data & Insight Manager will be the first dedicated analytics hire in the business — owning everything from technical setup to commercial storytelling. You'll work cross-functionally across eCommerce, marketing, and operations to unlock the value of data and drive critical decision-making. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who thrives on solving problems, building from scratch, and creating business value through data.
Essential Skills:
• Strong SQL and experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, Data Studio)
• Proven experience building and maintaining data pipelines and reporting infrastructure
• Background in ecommerce, DTC, or digital businesses (ideally fast-paced or scaling environments)
• Strong commercial awareness - understands CAC, LTV, trading P&L, and customer segmentation
• Excellent communicator - able to influence stakeholders and explain the 'why', not just the 'what'
Benefits:
• High-impact, first-of-its-kind role in a PE-backed growth business
• Autonomy to build systems, tools, and strategy from the ground up
• Cross-functional exposure - work directly with transformation, marketing, product, and ops
• Hybrid working model (2 days/week in a collaborative HQ, rest remote)
• Competitive package with future bonus potential and leadership visibility
Explore this unique opportunity to shape a growing digital business from the inside out. Submit your CV now to join a brand backed by deep heritage and serious ambition.
At 3Search, we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all employees and job applicants.
