Here is an exciting opportunity to join a global manufacturing organization, who is growing out their Pricing Analytics division. The ideal candidate has an Advanced Analytics or Data Science background, who can leverage these techniques to drive pricing strategies, market competitiveness, to push the business forward. A large focus of this role will be scraping competitor data to build out the competitive landscape for the businesses pricing strategies. This position will have a blend of people leadership, data analysis, and market research.
Key Responsibilities:
• 5+ years of experience in Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Pricing Analytics focused roles.
• Industry experience within a retail, ecommerce, or CPG organization.
• Experience mentoring and managing a team of direct reports.
• Past experience doing web scrapes of competitor pricing data to build out reports for pricing strategy and insights.
• Extensive experience working with Python, SQL, R, ideally used to develop pricing models, but experiences using these tools for supply chain, marketing, or operations use cases are also open to consideration.
• Experience bringing meaning ad insights from large, messy, and complex data sets.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage a growing Pricing Analytics team of 2-4 individual contributors.
• Develop data-driven pricing strategies that consider market conditions, competitive pricing landscape, and consumer purchasing behavior.
• Analyze very large data sets, build pricing & forecasting models.
• Work cross functionally across finance, marketing, and product divisions.
