Role description
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Deputy Senior General Manager – D2C(e-commerce) to support the planning, execution, and optimization of our direct-to-consumer operations. This leadership role will be pivotal in driving customer acquisition, engagement, and retention across digital and physical channels, while ensuring revenue growth and operational excellence. Working closely with the General Manager, the Deputy will play a hands-on role in aligning teams, initiatives, and performance metrics across e-commerce, marketing, CRM, product, and logistics functions. Responsibilities • Develop and execution of the D2C business strategy in alignment with corporate goals. • Oversee the end-to-end fulfillment process, ensuring seamless order execution and delivery. Manage vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service delivery while maintaining strong partnerships. • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders including global headquarters, product teams, supply chain, product marketing, IT, Customer service and finance teams to ensure cohesive execution of D2C strategies. • Manage the P&L for the D2C business, driving revenue, margin, and profitability targets. • Track KPIs and deliver regular reporting on sales performance, conversion rates, CAC, LTV, ROI, and etc. on campaigns. • Oversee day-to-day e-commerce operations, including promotions, site UX, and customer journey optimization. • Leverage data and analytics to drive personalization, A/B testing, and continuous performance improvements. • Champion a seamless and consistent customer experience across digital and offline D2C touchpoints. • Lead and mentor cross-functional D2C teams, fostering a culture of performance, innovation, and accountability. • Provide leadership support in strategic meetings and decision-making forums. • Continuously monitor market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes, ensuring the business remains at the forefront of D2C innovation. • Recommend new tools, platforms, and partnerships to accelerate growth. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Digital Commerce, Logistics and Supply Chain, or related field; MBA is a plus. • 15+ years of experience in D2C with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or deputy-level role. • Proven track record of managing D2C channels with successful revenue growth and CX improvements. • Strong understanding of digital performance marketing, analytics, CRM, e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento), and supply chain dynamics. • In-depth knowledge of digital advertising such as google, Meta, Creteo, and affiliate programs. • Advanced proficiency in Ecomm and Digital Marketing technology. • Strong knowledge of SEO and hands on experience with improving ranks. • Ensured experience of CRM tools (e.g., Klaviyo, Attentive, Adobe Journey Optimizer) • Strong experience of analytic tools (e.g., google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, etc.) • Hands-on experience with legal risk mitigation related to online sales, digital marketing, and consumer data protection. • Experience in cross-functional team leadership and stakeholder management in a multi-cultural environment. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive strategic initiatives to completion. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. • Knowledge and experience of online marketplaces (Amazon, Walmart, Shein, etc.) and social commerce (Meta store, Tiktok store) • Experience in Social media operation (preferred • Working experience in cross cultural team (preferred) Benefits: Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision); 401(k) with employer match; paid time off (vacation/sick leave); paid holidays; disability insurance; Other compensation: Eligibility for performance bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and other programs.
