Role description
V&C Associates are working with a fast growing accessories brand whom are seeking a results-driven Amazon Account Manager to oversee and grow the brand presence across the US, UK, and EU Amazon marketplaces. Reporting to the commercial team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales, accelerate growth, and enhance brand performance on Amazon. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and enhance customer experience across global Amazon 1P platforms for the brand. β€’ Use strong commercial negotiation skills to influence Amazon outcomes and unlock new opportunities, particularly within the UK and EU marketplaces. β€’ Manage commercial agreements across multiple currencies and regions, adapting strategies to suit market-specific requirements. β€’ Own and report weekly retail sales performance, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders. β€’ Build, manage, and maintain internal sales forecasts and budgets, ensuring they align with wider commercial targets. β€’ Manage full P&L responsibility for Amazon business across multiple markets. β€’ Support achievement of sales, margin, and strategic customer objectives as a core commercial team member. β€’ Confidently manage AVN (Amazon Vendor Negotiation) commercial agreements. β€’ Maintain and update pricing using internal ERP systems, working closely with finance and supply chain teams. β€’ Oversee a large and complex portfolio of hundreds of SKUs, ensuring optimal listings and catalogue content in partnership with the agency. β€’ Conduct regular catalogue reviews, monitor weekly product availability, and ensure supply continuity. β€’ Manage the end-to-end launch process for new product development (NPD) on Amazon. β€’ Build and maintain strong relationships with Amazon Vendor Managers and cross-functional internal teams. Key Requirements β€’ Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Amazon accounts or working directly with Amazon in a vendor-facing capacity. β€’ In-depth knowledge of Amazon Vendor Central and a strong understanding of the 1P Amazon business model. β€’ Demonstrated track record of using Amazon growth levers (marketing, content, availability, pricing, etc.) to deliver tangible results. β€’ Strong financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls, budgets, and sales forecasts. β€’ Advanced Excel skills, including the ability to analyse data and present insights. β€’ Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving. β€’ Experience managing teams, agencies, or external partners is an advantage. β€’ Excellent relationship-building skills and the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
