Role description
Monkee’s is seeking a driven, detail-oriented Digital Brand & Marketing Strategist to play a pivotal role in advancing both our corporate and franchise marketing initiatives. This multifaceted position blends creative strategy with execution, overseeing new store social media, guiding franchise branding efforts, and supporting new store launches. The ideal candidate is a resourceful and proactive communicator with a deep understanding of digital marketing, social trends, and brand stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
New Store Launch Support
· Guide new franchisees through social media strategy development and implementation to drive awareness and excitement.
· Coordinate promotional opportunities and collaborative giveaways to enhance store visibility and community engagement.
· Conduct performance evaluations for new store social media efforts at 1-month, 3-month, and 6-month intervals.
Store Social Media Support
· Provide individualized training, tools, and strategic support to franchisees, enabling them to effectively manage their social channels.
· Collaborate with store owners to develop localized content strategies and digital marketing campaigns.
· Support onboarding and training for new team members and franchisees.
Strategic Planning & Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner across departments to align marketing initiatives with quarterly projections and broader brand goals.
· Anticipate store marketing needs by researching trends and forecasting demand across the marketing funnel.
E-Commerce & Shopify Support
· Provide support to the Ecommerce Manager in the setup and maintenance of Shopify stores (Shopify Plus experience preferred).
· Source and format product imagery to ensure all assets meet platform specifications and quality standards.
· Assist in implementation of Klaviyo automations and forms for customer growth and retention.
· Assist Ecommerce Manager in implementing and reporting SEO strategies across all store websites.
· Stay up to date with latest trends, best practices, and tools in e-commerce to boost brand growth, retention, and sales.
Marketing & Brand Development
· Partner with the broader marketing team to assess underperforming locations and craft tailored marketing improvement plans.
· Maintain and enhance marketing toolkits and brand guideline documents for consistent application across the franchise network.
· Enforce adherence to brand and vendor guidelines, addressing discrepancies as needed.
· Coordinate with the buying team to ensure stores comply with vendor-specific marketing requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
· 2–4 years of experience in a marketing, digital communications, or social media role.
· Proven experience with social media platforms, management tools, and performance analytics.
· Proficiency with Shopify or Shopify Plus highly preferred.
· Proficient in Klaviyo
· Strong graphic design capabilities and working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with keen attention to tone and detail.
· Highly organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
