At Lowe’s, our Digital teams works within the world of ever-changing ecommerce retail! They are focused on identifying and developing strategies and implementing aligned execution plans to maximize key ecommerce strategic opportunities. The Digital Commerce Undergraduate Internship is intended to provide an opportunity to learn and grow through project work while immediately contributing and adding value to a team.
This role has potential for conversion after graduation into a full-time, entry-level position as part of Lowe's Launchpad program for those that successfully complete their internship and required education. Lowe's Launchpad is a rotational opportunity designed to help emerging technologists strengthen their tech skills, engage with tech leaders, and learn more about Lowe’s culture while advancing their career. Successful completion of this program could result in final placement in just 14-months.

This internship is based at our headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our corporate office is a space where you can collaborate and do your best work. Our 25-story Tech Hub is where the future of retail is born. This space is designed to inspire, and you’re just a few steps away from some of the best restaurants in town.
What You Will Learn
Using research and data as the main drivers, you may expect to:
• Assist in creating the strategic framework around identified e-commerce market opportunities.
• Support the development of tactics to optimize Lowe’s.com offerings for customers in alignment with overall e-commerce strategy and vision.
• Respond to consumer feedback by generating insights to influence continuous site improvements.
• Partner with Analysts to align internal tactics that engage priority associate actions with customer offerings.
• Ensure enterprise alignment and readiness through cross-functional preparation sessions.
Potential Projects Could Include Efforts To:
• Conduct internal and external research to gather data and insights related to assigned product categories.
• Analyze customer information and data to identify opportunities and challenges within categories.
• Create action plans based on insights to improve category performance and customer experience.
• Meet periodically with and present insights to Online Operators within Digital Category and Brand Advocates.
• Take ownership of a partial component of the DCR for Wall and Floor Tiles.
• Complete QBR analysis, collateral creation, and presentation delivery for a brand in the BA program.
• Participate in a funnel progression and optimization refresh.
• Assist in creating documentation, guides, and tools to support adoption of new digital capabilities and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute operational readiness plans for digital platform changes and new capability launches.
• Provide insights and recommendations to expand the usage and adoption of new digital capabilities.
• Partner with digital analytics teams to identify key metrics and build measurement models.
Education and/or Experience:
• Intent to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, Marketing, Data Science, Merchandising, or related with an expected graduation date of December 2026 or May 2027
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA required
• Strong collaborative, innovative, problem solving, organizational, and communication skills are required
• Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization
• Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
