Role description
Global Digital Content Manager Manchester (Hybrid) At Spectrum Brands, we’re more than just a house of brands, we’re a global team united by a common goal: to make everyday life better for our consumers with our category-leading brands such as Remington, a global leader in personal grooming, haircare and styling solutions, and Russell Hobbs, iconic kitchen appliances designed to blend innovation with everyday functionality. We innovate with purpose and design with the consumer in mind, reaching millions across North America, EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. Whether it's launching new products or elevating digital experiences, we aim to surprise and delight consumers every day. As part of our continued investment in digital transformation and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) growth, we’re strengthening our global digital marketing capabilities by investing in content. We’re now hiring a Global Digital Content Manager to lead our Remington content function—shaping and delivering high-quality assets that power our brand and product storytelling across web, retail, and campaign touchpoints. This is a technically focused role—not one for social media creators, but for a strategic digital content lead who can manage people, projects, and platforms with equal confidence. If you thrive in a fast-paced, commercially minded environment and can bring creative execution to life at a global scale, we’d love to hear from you. The Role As Global Digital Content Manager, you will lead the content team responsible for delivering a broad range of digital assets across our global markets. Working closely with brand and regional marketing teams, you’ll ensure all website, retail, and campaign content is engaging, consistent, and aligned with brand and business objectives. You’ll manage the creation of best-in-class digital assets to support product launches, both on our owned brand sites and our retail partners’ platforms. From campaign creative to product photography, video, and ecommerce copy, you’ll oversee content that fuels performance across every digital channel. You will build and maintain annual content calendars in line with brand campaigns and seasonal priorities, ensuring that all creative can be adapted locally with ease. In doing so, you’ll take full ownership of content delivery, from briefing internal web designers and production teams, to overseeing workload, deadlines, and quality control. As the technical content lead, you’ll be the key point of contact for global brand teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring an integrated approach from planning through to execution. You’ll also coach and develop your team, creating a high-performing, agile function that champions innovation and best practice. About you We are looking for a commercially minded digital content professional with a proven track record in leading creative campaigns and producing technically sound content for global use. You bring a deep understanding of the digital content lifecycle - from planning and production to publishing and optimisation and can manage multiple priorities without compromising on quality or consistency. With solid experience managing photo and video shoots (including working with models), you’re comfortable overseeing both the creative and logistical aspects of content development. You have an excellent grasp of platform-specific content formats and performance considerations, particularly across ecommerce and retail channels. You are not a content creator yourself, but you understand the creative process inside out and can confidently brief designers, copywriters, and videographers to deliver to brief and brand tone. Your written and verbal communication skills are strong, and you’re adept at presenting ideas, aligning stakeholders, and providing guidance to regional marketing teams. You’re organised and forward-thinking, able to create and manage project plans, prioritise team workload, and troubleshoot challenges as they arise. Importantly, you bring leadership qualities - supporting, developing, and stretching your team to deliver exceptional content output that performs across every platform and market. Benefits • 25 days holiday + Bank holidays • Company Pension • Annual Bonus • Life Assurance • Healthcare plan • Colleague discount • Hybrid working (3 days on site, 2 days WFH)
