Digital Marketing Lead
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Digital Marketing Lead to join the team at Joseph Holt Ltd on a permanent contract.
Overview:
We’re looking for a hands-on, proactive Digital Marketing Lead to take ownership of our digital platforms and support the wider marketing team in delivering high-impact campaigns. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical and creative digital skills, experience managing websites and CRMs, and a passion for driving performance through data and insight.
Key Responsibilities:
Website & SEO Management
• Manage and maintain the company website and brands including Hotels by Holts & Holts at Home online brands, ensuring all content is up-to-date, optimised, and aligned with brand and campaign activity.
• Work with external developers to implement technical updates and improvements (e.g. UX enhancements, landing pages, plugin management).
• Monitor site performance (speed, uptime, usability) and resolve issues as needed.
• Implement SEO best practices and optimise pages for organic search visibility.
CRM & Email Marketing
• Own the CRM platform (Atreemo), managing customer data, segmentation, and campaign automation.
• Plan, build, and report on email campaigns that drive engagement, conversion, and retention.
• Ensure data compliance and GDPR best practice is maintained.
Digital Campaign Support
• Collaborate with the marketing team to deliver integrated campaigns across paid social, email, and digital content.
• Support the planning and execution of digital advertising (PPC, paid social, retargeting), working with internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to campaign reporting and analysis, using Google Analytics and other platforms to measure performance and inform future activity.
Content & Digital Asset Management
• Manage digital content including blog posts, product pages, downloadable assets, and more.
• Ensure all digital content is brand-consistent and optimised for user journey and SEO.
• Support multimedia content creation (images, videos, animations) by briefing creatives or editing basic assets in Adobe Suite.
Data & Insight
• Monitor digital KPIs and produce regular reports on website traffic, user behaviour, CRM performance, and campaign effectiveness.
• Use data insights to make informed recommendations and continuous improvements across all digital channels.
The Successful Candidate:
• 2–4 years’ experience in a digital marketing role, ideally within a B2C, hospitality or consumer-focused environment.
• High level of written communication for online communities to make every page compelling and digital ready
• Proven experience managing and updating websites (WordPress & WooCommerce).
• Strong understanding of CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
• Confident using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or Moz).
• Basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.
• Excellent SEO Skills and knowledge of upcoming changes and digital landscape
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working as part of an integrated marketing team.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Possess a full clean driving licence
