Wessex Internet is an award-winning, fast-growing broadband provider revolutionising rural connectivity across the Southwest. As we expand into the New Forest, Wiltshire, and South & West Dorset, we're looking for a driven legal professional to join our internal Legal team and play a key role in our network rollout.
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join our team on a fixed term 9-month contract.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you'll be responsible for leading and delivering digital marketing strategies that generate leads, boost sales, and grow our brand.
You’ll manage and improve various digital channels, including SEO, PPC, and social media (Google, Meta, Bing). You’ll use data and performance insights to adjust campaigns and get the best return on investment. A strong background in paid media analytics is important.
Key Responsibilities
• Create and run digital marketing plans to drive leads, sales, and brand awareness
• Manage and improve SEO, PPC, organic, and social media across platforms like Google, Meta, and Bing
• Use data to refine strategies and improve performance and ROI
• Plan and deliver content across digital channels, using a test-and-learn approach
• Work with agencies to optimise paid search, display, and social media campaigns
• Use A/B testing and best practices to improve ad performance
• Manage daily updates and improvements to the website using Umbraco CMS
• Work with developers to fix bugs and make website changes not handled in the CMS
• Improve organic traffic by following SEO best practices and updating content based on keyword research
• Lead and support the Digital Marketing team, encouraging teamwork and innovation
Requirements:
• 3+ years' experience in digital marketing, with hands-on management of search, display, and paid social campaigns
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics
• Skilled in Excel for reporting and insight generation
• Experience in CRO and data-led website improvements
• Analytical and commercially minded
• Familiar with CMS platforms and SEO tools
• Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is a plus
• Agency management experience preferred
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and confident in owning projects
Benefits
• A starting salary of up to £45,000, dependent on experience.
• Hybrid working with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
• 25 days holiday + bank holidays, with the option to buy/sell up to 5 days.
• Private medical insurance, life assurance & income protection.
• Cycle to Work & Tech purchase schemes.
• Enhanced family leave policies.
• Staff broadband discount (75%).
• High street discounts on 100+ brands.
• Summer & Christmas team socials.
• Career development opportunities - Whether you want to lead a team or learn new skills, we’ll support your growth in our fast-moving business.
If you're ready to lead digital marketing efforts that help shape the future of rural broadband, and want to be part of a fast-paced, purpose-driven team, apply now and join Wessex Internet — where we’re building more than networks; we’re building futures.
